Today’s stressful society and fast paced lifestyle can take its toll on our body and mind and the workplace is often where stress is the most prevalent! According to the Government’s Health and Safety Executive Report on work related stress, anxiety and depression, in 2015/16 stress accounted for 37% of all work-related ill health cases and 45% of all working days lost due to ill health. Learning to manage stress in the workplace is important for employees’ own health and for businesses. Adopting a meditation practice into your working week will help to reduce stress significantly and can help lead to an improvement in productivity, creativity and concentration in employees, all of which are essential for a successful business.
